Blake Dean -

Blake Founded Southpaw Underground in 2014, A batting foundation specialist and spin bowling coach. Blake has been coaching 1on1 now for 12+ years (12,000hrs). With a playing and Coaching career that has spanned a decade.

•3x GI medalist-winner , player of the ACT 1st grade Grand Final

• 13x ACT first grade premierships as a player QDCC, WCCC, and WDCC

• 12x ACT premierships as a Head Coach of WDCC and QDCC the only Head Coach to ever win all 5 premierships in 1 season from 1st grade - 5th grade.

• Melbourne Renegades Sup player 2013/14

With Playing and Coaching experience in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales holding the record for most runs ever in North wales premier Cricket and a nationals T20 comp winner in Scotland , it’s safe to say Blake is one of the most experienced players and Coaches in ACT and NSW Cricket.


Alex Corver -

HP Batting foundation specialist and A past Southpaw student of 7 years. Coach Corver is one of the strongest batsman in ACT premier league and at just 21 years old has debuted for the ACT comets and scored several hundreds in 1st grade cricket. Alex has been coaching Southpaw students since 2019 and is one of the strongest coaches in ACT/NSW.

Sean McFarlane -

HP Batting foundation specialist, Wicket Keeping Coach and A past Southpaw student. Coach Mcfarlane is fast becoming one of the strongest batsman in ACT 1st grade premier league and at just 20 years old.

All southpaw coaches have been apart of the program for more then 5 years having developed there games through the southpaw process from junior cricket all the way through to 1st grade premier cricket and representative cricket.

We pride ourselves on the ability to build strong training habits not only through our structured sessions at southpaw HQ. But the accountability to Work hard from home at at our local clubs.
